The ESG Committee under the Board of Directors
is the highest decision-making body
for Kakao’s sustainability management.
- Reviews sustainability strategy directions and oversees related business performance
- Reviews and approves material issues and non-financial risks
- Establishes climate response strategies and directions
- Reviews and approves shared growth donations, etc.
Sustainability Management Steering Organization
The Sustainability Management Steering Organization carries out working-level implementation of company-wide sustainability strategies approved by the Board of Directors and the CEO.
- Collects and reviews company-wide sustainability strategy implementation performance
- Shares implementation tasks with relevant departments and supports execution
- Reports progress and agenda items to the ESG Committee
- Discloses performance and communicates with external stakeholders
